As more people are home and looking to adopt a dog as a fun furry companion. You’ll find certain types of dogs that unfortunately are left behind at the shelters. 

In our shelters both in the US and Honduras we see a number of these types of dogs who are just looking for a nice home. 

Typically when we have dogs come in and stay for a while they tend to be the older dogs that are less likely to be adopted. 

People don’t want to deal with an older dog as they come with more expenses and more looking after. 

A common mistake with older dogs is that they are harder to train but thats just not true. They just want to find a loving family.
